Older students focus more on improving or maintaining their good health.
Special flexibility, breathing and general physical exercises improves sleep, maintains normal blood pressure and helps to cope with everyday stress. Just like other age groups, older students also learn various Nhat Nam combat and self-defence techniques. However, it is more individualized to suit different needs, physical ability and medical conditions.
Typical training starts with mobility exercises, light stretching, moving onto training different muscles groups, breathing exercises, practising Nhat Nam techniques and ending with stretching.
Practising Nhat Nam not just improves physical wellness, but also concentration and gives more energy and mental skills to deal with everyday challenges.
